Erasmus +

Today (16.02.2026) we officially launch the international educational program organized by the Polish Musicians Union and the Estonian school MUBA.

The program is implemented as part of the European project “Increasing the competitiveness of musicians in the evolving job market through international remote collaboration using digital technologies”, financed by the Erasmus+ programme.

We are pleased to begin this initiative and look forward to productive international cooperation and the development of new digital competencies among participating musicians.

PROGRAM LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Functioning on today’s music market is not only about musical and artistic competences. In addition, business competencies are necessary. The aim of this program is to develop them. You’ll be able to work online, in small international groups and by that the knowledge gained on lectures will be put in practice.

WHO IS PARTICIPATING?

The program is addressed to musicians who plan to become professionals (meaning living largely from income from music), as well as to current professionals who want to update their knowledge and acquire new competences.

All lectures are in English, you’ll also work in groups with Estonian participants so English is required to communicate. It doesn’t matter if you have the experience in international creative cooperation or not, you’ll be able to check how such cooperation can go and if it’s something for you or not.

WHAT DOES THE PROGRAM CONSIST OF?

The program includes ON-LINE meetings:

  • 10 educational meetings

  • 2 group meetings

  • one on one meetings with chosen expert.

  • creative working groups

Educational meetings will be conducted by our Experts – music industry specialists, practitioners and/or educators. In formula, they resemble lectures, but leave more space for interaction. Duration: 75 minutes.

In the above-mentioned activities, we are not only concerned with unilateral “transfer of knowledge”, from experts (those who know) to participants (those who do not know). We assume that participants may also be experts in their fields, and they certainly present up-to-date knowledge. Our highest priority is to create favorable conditions to allow the transfer of this knowledge, too, on all levels.

The active feedback loop created in this way will enable making corrections to the existing program, but also to its future editions.
